Love is the one strong motivator I've had in my life.
How would I ever try hard enough to succeed financially at my art/writing?
I could do tis if I had an artist life partner who I believed in personally and artistically and I wanted to support her art. I could ensure that my art is profitable so that I could support her making art until it is successful financially.
the road there:
Health: exercise every day to be fit and clear headed. don't drink or partake in cannabis, but do use mushrooms as needed to avoid depression and to feel a sense of meaning and escape bad cycles.
avoid the internet except when posting things I've completed. (sidenote, start making TIN episodes again and donate all patreon money this summer to black lives matter) plan out when i post what to the internet.
Have a regular output of creative material and start to get it to make money.
Meet other artists. Seek out local artists. Have a good body of popular and good work to elevate my status. Date around in the art world until I find someone who fits the bill.
In the meantime, use Alex Branch as a model for who I'm looking for. A symbolic muse and potential girlfriend I am trying to woo without actually contacting her.
1. Be fit and healthy to be physically attractive,
2. be well adjusted emotionally
3. make interesting art
4. have cultural capital
5. be in a stable financial state
Post pics of her on the wall of my office if you want. Not to be creepy but to keep me motivated. She's a symbol, a placeholder for the partnet I wish to one day find.
