A weird TV sitcom where there are different sets set up as different jobs and houses and during transition scenes we actually see the actors step off set and become the character of the actor playing that character in transition time, saying hi to crew and getting a donut at craft services and stepping back onto a new set and now they're back in character. The main show is the performative show, but there is some overlap with the meta story of the actors playing the roles.
If this was done as an audio sitcom then the artificiality of the realistic in between parts would be interesting, You would know that these scenes were also fiction, but a different level of fiction. It's semi-improvised with a more fluid fly on the wall style and sound edited to be a binaural spacial show with following characters around in space
Things are alluded to but a much larger and weirder world is never directly seen. The show is put on by a cult to fund it's lifestyle after the filmmaker guru blew threw all his money.
A second season "behind the music" style documentary about the sitcom being made that uses clips from these same actors playing in the guru's pretentious art films.

Nobody questions these killings because they happen constantly here. What if the gestapo didn't dress in uniform and their killings appeared randomized instead of knocking down your front door and telling you what thought crime you've committed? On a certain level this is happening in America with the police shootings of people of color. They are randomly killing people who the establishment would rather not participate in society. It just happens through institutionalized racism instead of being planned by a secret cabal. This serves several purposes. Makes it appear random. is a way of assassinating specific people without exposing themselves as a gestapo, and also it makes the average citizen fear and mistrust their fellow citizens and seek the government to protect them from one another, solidifying power of the government, winning the allegiance of the people over their own class/race solidarity, and it discourages collective action or uprisal among the oppressed classes. It's controversial to say that mass shootings are planned and I'm not saying any or all of them are faked. But this would be the motive if something like this happened. Much moreso than the often repeated right wing theory that "the government is coming for my guns." because they have not come for anybody's guns even after all these years and with so much support for that idea. They obviously want you to have your guns or they would have already been taken away long ago.)

The Concensus Reality Border Dilineation Charter was written as a sort of solution to widespread cases of Reality Fraud. Conspiracies were arising where large groups of powerful people across the universe were knowingly falsified Experiential Paperwork. Physical and Metaphysical Reality no longer resembled legal reality at all, causing chaos throughout the Visible Universe. The solution, decided upon by those within the highest offices of the bureaucracy, was to legally disband physical and metaphysical realities entirely and only paperwork based reality was to be recognized at all. By definition, the fundamental building blocks of reality were no longer subatomic particles, but forms, xeroxes, receipts.
And just as the filing process was automated by advanced AI/consciousness ssytems in biological brains, so was the receipt and re-integration of confirmation missives. And in majority of cases, memories of events were now at least partially overwritten with the official database-compliant experiences.
Thus, Consensus reality became a self-sustaining and self-consistent feedback loop that became entirely untethered from the reality of Physical Matter. Hackers were able to override the feedback mechanism to regain control of their senses and memories removed from Consensus Reality, but such an act was highly illegal and violated the terms of service within Consensus Reality, leaving you forever unable to relate to those still within the paperwork realm. Life outside of the paperwork realm could be lonely and dangerous. They became invisible to everyone within the Paperwork Realm or viewed as ghosts due to the Database-compiant consciousnesses of those around them being forbidden to acknowledge them.
But communities were formed and with new communities came new bureaucracy and eventually these bureaucracies were significant enough to be acknowledged by consensus reality, but were defined as threats. Enemies of the state to be assimilated or destroyed.
If they too adopted feedback technologies they would become two warring realities with no overlapping commonalities. The key to avoiding this war is for everyone to turn off their automatic updating mechanisms, Cut themselves off from the officially approved experience to internalized experience feedback loop. And the key here is that everyone needs to do it simultaneously. They can't arrest us all.
