ROUTINE IS AN ANESTHETIC. DO SOMETHING YOU HATE FOR 7 DAYS STRAIGHT AND YOU MAY GROW USED TO IT. YOUR MIND DOESN'T BOTHER LOGGING MEMORIES OF THINGS YOU'VE DONE EXACTLY THE SAME OVER AND OVER AGAIN. SOMETIMES YOU PARK YOUR CAR AT WORK AND YOU THINK. HOW DID I GET HERE? I DON'T REMEMBER DRIVING THIS FAR. SOMETIMES YOU WAKE UP AFTER 15 YEARS AT THE SAME COMPANY AND YOU THINK, "WHY AM I SO WRINKLED? WHAT'S UP WITH ALL THESE GRAY HAIRS? WHY DID I SKIP TO THIS MOMENT IN TIME AND NOT AN EARLIER ONE?

EVEN THINGS YOU LOVE IF REPEATED ENOUGH TIMES NO LONGER FORM REAL MEMORIES AFTER A CERTAIN REPITITION. THIS IS WHY UNPREDICTABLILITY IS THE KEY TO LIVING LONGER, FROM A SUBJECTIVE POINT OF VIEW AT LEAST THIS IS CORRECT. A WALK DOWN AN UNFAMILIAR STREET SUBJECTIVELY TAKES TENS OF TIMES LONGER THAN A STREET YOU'VE BEEN DOWN SEVERAL TIMES.

EVEN ATROCITIES BECOME ROUTINE AND THUS VANISH IF THEY HAPPEN WITH ENOUGH FREQUENCY.

MOVE YOUR FURNITURE REGULARLY. EVERY FRIDAY. (IF YOU PARTAKE IN PSYCHEDELICS, MAYBE REARRANGE THE MENTAL FURNITURE EVERY FRIDAY AT THE SAME TIME) SO YOU'LL STILL SEE THE THINGS THAT BRING YOU JOY.

AND THE THINGS THAT ARE DIFFICULT BUT YOU MUST DO, DO THEM EXACTLY THE SAME EVERY SINGLE DAY SO YOU STOP REGISTERING DOING THEM.

WEDNESDAY: CLEAN ENTIRE HOUSE
THURSDAY: REARRANGE ENTIRE HOUSE
FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY: UTILIZE THE BENEFITS OF THE REARRANGED SPACE.

(sidenote conspiratorial thought not to be published: I suspect at least some of the random shootings that happen in America are undercover hits. Nobody questions these killings because they happen constantly here. What if the gestapo didn't dress in uniform and their killings appeared randomized instead of knocking down your front door and telling you what thought crime you've committed? On a certain level this is happening in America with the police shootings of people of color. They are randomly killing people who the establishment would rather not participate in society. It just happens through institutionalized racism instead of being planned by a secret cabal. This serves several purposes. Makes it appear random. is a way of assassinating specific people without exposing themselves as a gestapo, and also it makes the average citizen fear and mistrust their fellow citizens and seek the government to protect them from one another, solidifying power of the government, winning the allegiance of the people over their own class/race solidarity, and it discourages collective action or uprisal among the oppressed classes. It's controversial to say that mass shootings are planned and I'm not saying any or all of them are faked. But this would be the motive if something like this happened. Much moreso than the often repeated right wing theory that "the government is coming for my guns." because they have not come for anybody's guns even after all these years and with so much support for that idea. They obviously want you to have your guns or they would have already been taken away long ago.)
